Hi Christine,
Have you checked out the forum page of the website - there are a number of suggestions and ideas there for "getting started". Beyond that, let me know what, specifically, I can help you with. What age group, etc. Hope you have a Tribes book as a resource?!

Is there any where I can find some suggestions or plans for the first few weeks of school. I know the responsive classroom and have started to learn about tribes from a friend who uses tribes in her classroom and I have agreed to start the first few weeks in her class since she is out with a family emergency. I want to be sure to get the class off on the right foot and would like to use Tribes since that is what she uses. But only have two days to prep. ANyone have any suggestions for where to begin and what to do the first few weeks. I want to get the kids off to a great start and know it will be hard since their teacher is not able to be here. HELP! Thanks in advance! Christine
